Programs and Events Specifically for Youth

Home School Swim Team

Our USA Swimming certified club provides swim programs for all levels of age group athletes who enjoy swimming for health and fitness, and would like to improve their technique. We will work on making swimmers legal in all four swim strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breastroke, freestyle). Primary emphasis will be placed on having fun and developing good technique. We will also work on aerobic endurance, strength, speed, flip turns, starts and dives, how to use a pace clock and much more. The goal is to develop swimmers of all ages and ability levels and teach them that swimming is a life long activity. There are both competitive and non-competitive practice groups available.

Swim Prep

Swim Prep is designed for children ages 5-10 years old who are interested in joining our year-round swim team but need some additional skill development before making the jump. Participants should be able to swim 25 yards unassisted. Participants have the option of choosing either a Monday/Wednesday class or a Tuesday/Thursday class.

Private Lessons

Individual one-on-one technique and skill work with a Paragon Training coach.

San Antonio Summer Running Camp

This 7-week camp is a fun filled way to help you build fitness throughout the summer so you can have your best cross country season yet. The main focus will be on aerobic conditioning, drills, coordination, strength and HAVING FUN! Participants will also learn about nutrition, common running injuries, injury prevention, mental preparation, training logs, goal setting and much more! Campers will be broken into groups so they can train with others their own ability and each group will be led by an experienced coach.  Come join us, have fun and get FAST!

Paragon Splash and Dash

The Paragon Splash and Dash is San Antonio's only summer youth aquathlon series. It is a fun event meant for kids new to swimming and/or running, and for more seasoned athletes. Each of the four races is on a Sunday, four weeks apart and starting in May. Set new goals for the summer and get involved!

Junior Cycling Skills

The Junior triathlon training program provides a group training environment for athletes age 7-18 interested in pursuing the sport of triathlon. We will get more details out as summer approaches. Subscribe to our website to stay updated.
