Tri-Waco Triathlon
Kathleen O'shea competed at her first sprint distance triathlon and, from what I read, had a blast! She finished in 1:42:24 to earn a 6th place age group finish! Fernando Sanchez was also present and he competed in the Olympic distance aquabike. Sanchez earned a 4th place age group finish with a time of 2:38:02. There were also several members of the UTSA Triathlon Club competing in this triathlon.
Summer Sunrise Watermelon 5k
Robin Golden raced at Lakeland, Florida last weekend snagging 2nd place in her age group. She rocked it at a sub 8 min mile pace and finishing in 24:45!
Xterra Magnolia Hill Triathlon
Mark Saroni earned a 2nd place overall finish last weekend at Xterra Magnolia Hill. He was leading the entire race all the way until the last mile in which he had a few bouts of walking and was passed by a fellow competitor. he finished about 3 & 1/2 minutes behind the leader with a time of 1:53:37.
Triathlon #2 at Fort Sam Houston
Sanaa Cody competed at a sprint distance triathlon hosted by Fort Sam Houston. With results hard to find, I'm led to believe she killed it!
