Luck of the Irish Sprint Triathlon
UTSA athletes competed at the Luck of the Irish Triathlon in Northern Dallas last weekend. This race was the last race of the SWM Collegiate Series prior to heading to Nationals in Tempe, AZ. The weather was phenomenal with clear skies and 65 degree air temps.
Tiffany Tabourne was the lead female athletes landing a 6th place finish while Andrew Weathers led for the Roadrunner Males crossing the line in 5th! Together, the team finished the collegiate series of races in 3rd place overall!
On April 5-6th, the UTSA athletes will be headed to Tempe Arizona for the yearly collegiate nationals race. The weekend is full of racing with the draft-legal championship race on Friday and the Olympic-distance and mixed-team relays on Saturday.
