April Athlete Spotlight - Meet Christian

Think you're seeing double? Yep, that's right, our athlete spotlight for this month is the twin brother to Cassidy Fosbenner, who we highlighted in March. Christian comes from a team sports background and often shows up to swim practice or a meet bearing the scars of his most recent football endeavors. He's tough as nails though and Coach JD says he's never heard Christian complain once. Here's a bit more insight into who Christian is and what he's about:

Age: 12

Grade: 6th

How long have you been swimming? 4 years for swimming, but just this past year I got into running with the Paragon Splash and Dashes.

Why do you like swimming? It is fun and I love the challenge. I also want to get faster than my sister (Emily).

Favorite post-workout or race meal: Daily peanut butter and jelly sandwich, with a brownie after a meet.

College plans: Play football at TCU.

What do you want to be when you grow up? Planning on an engineer degree, but I plan to play in the NFL first.

Tell us something no one knows about you: I am a little COMPETITIVE.
