O'Shea Sprints for Success, Cody Excels in Distance

Kathleen O'Shea sprang from the blocks at the Colorado Master's and Mid America Regional Indoor Championship yesterday at the United States Airforce Academy. This was O'Shea's first meet of the year and her first indoor meet ever. It was also a new experience running around a unique, 267-meter track (6 laps for a mile). She raced the 60m Dash, 200m Dash, and 400m Dash. And she won each event! What a way to kick-start the 2018 track season!

Sanaa Cody also had a successful weekend. Cody raced the Austin Half Marathon on Sunday, coming in at a time of 1:52. This was a big training weekend for her, as she gears up for Ironman Santa Rosa in May. "With a long training ride the day before, the goal was all about pacing, nutrition, and running a smart race."

Other Paragon athletes were sighted out and about this weekend, getting in their workouts. The training supports the performance.

Make sure to send your pictures from training and racing to: racing@paragontraining.org so we can showcase all the rad stuff you guys do.
