How long have you been swimming, cycling, running, and/or doing triathlons?
I began triathlon in 2022 with very little knowledge of the sport, though running was already part of my family background. My older sister was an avid marathon runner, and I had completed a few half marathons in my 20s and 30s. At the time, I was usually in the gym lifting weights, but in my early 40s I wanted a new challenge. Around then, a close friend introduced me to Ironman triathlons, which sparked my curiosity and motivated me to give the sport a try. In 2023, I bought my first road bike despite having no cycling background and began riding each week before adding swimming and running to my training. It was a long, difficult journey to figure everything out on my own. Later, another friend told me about Paragon Training, which became a turning point for me and helped shape where I am in the sport today
What aspects of training and/or racing do you enjoy most?

What do you want to be when you grow up? (We're all still kids at heart ❤️)
Still figuring that out! As I get older, its important to have goals set in front of me and to keep striving to be the best version of myself. Also, taking time to enjoy life's small moments and celebrate every win big or small.
What is something no one knows about you?
I was once a cowboy and rode horses.
Why do you race/train?
I train/race because finishing a major race and overcoming hard obstacles gives me a lot of personal satisfaction. It also helps me evaluate my strengths and weaknesses so I can improve both in this sport and in life.
